The Smith Family Homes Process

  1. We meet with you to select and customize your building plans.
  2. Discuss your building lot to determine orientation and grading options.
  3. Decide on building products and specifications to be used in your home.
  4. Provide a sales price based on the information furnished above and a contract will be executed. A deposit will be required at this point.
  5. Meet with our design team to select exterior paint, brick and roofing options. Then coordinate all your interior choices – everything from flooring to cabinets to lights
  6. Schedule a “ground breaking” for you, your family and anyone you’d like to invite.
  7. Once your home is “dried in”, you will meet with us to review rough-ins and answer any questions prior to concealment with drywall.
  8. We’ll meet with you on the job whenever you’d like to review work in progress.
  9. Before closing, we will schedule a comprehensive walk-through and orientation of the home, to provide an opportunity to identify any items that need our attention prior to the closing of the property.
  10. Finally, after closing our commitment to you does not end there. We give a standard one year warranty with many items of the home extending well beyond the one year mark.
